Any well behaved dog welcome. Dog parade, discounted nail trims by Haw Creek Animal Care (need proof of rabies vaccination), behavior tips by Mindful Mutz Dog Training, Brother Wolf Adoptions. This is no Westminster, just good family fun. Join us. Your dog just may be “Haw Creek Top Dog”.

Spring Yard Sale

Doing a little spring-cleaning? Turn those old possessions into cash at the spring yard sale. The Haw Creek Community Association will be hosting our Spring Community Yard Sale on Saturday, May 9th at the field on Pressley Road behind the St. John’s Episcopal Church at 290 Old Haw Creek Road. The rain date is Saturday, May 16th. We’re limited to 20-30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Seller sign-up and other details will be sent out in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey the Association sent out in February. 152 residents responded and the information was very helpful to the HCCA Board. The vast majority of the responses were very positive. Some comments heard more than once include: Great organization, appreciate leadership, $12/yr. membership very reasonable, I wish I could help but too busy, need to advocate for more sidewalks, used to be involved but became discouraged as others would not get involved or help, appreciate litter cleanup.
