Your Haw Creek Community Association is here to advocate for you and the best interests of our community. To be effective, we need to hear from you!
The Association had planned to host a World Cafe consultation in October; however, in the interest of health and safety, we have agreed to utilize an online survey at this time.
Please complete our Growth and Development Survey today and share it widely! We want everyone in Haw Creek, of every age, to be heard so that we can be effective for you!
Don’t forget about these events and opportunities to participate!
DEVELOPMENT SURVEY
The Mt. Xpress is conducting a survey of residents to assess their knowledge of the development process in the City of Asheville and Buncombe County. Did you know, for instance, that in Asheville the approval process for the vast majority of developments – Level I, Level II, and Major Subdivisions – do notinclude participation by residents or neighborhood associations?
Take the survey today! and help CAN (Coalition of Asheville Neighborhoods) and Mt Xpress strengthen public participation in development processes!
In addition to the survey, three online conversations about the project are scheduled via Zoom for 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13 (avl.mx/ae1); 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 (avl.mx/adz); and 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 (avl.mx/ady). Advance registration is requested, but drop-in attendance is also welcomed.
