The ROOT DOWN food truck, with its southern comfort/Creole cuisine, was voted Asheville’s Best Food Truck 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, and it was listed in Southern Living Magazine as one of the South’s Top 10 Food Trucks. They’ll be right around the corner at Haw Creek Commons (315 Old Haw Creek Road) on Saturday from 4 – 7 PM.

This is our 10th week of bringing food trucks into Haw Creek, and we appreciate all the hard-working, creative local “chefs-on-wheels” who have done such a great job feeding us!!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER; MASKS KEEP ALL OF US SAFE!

One word of caution: The curry bowl is super good but super spicy … if that’s not your thing, ask them to “hold the curry sauce” and choose a different sauce from their menu on the side! I’m speaking from experience!
Weekly food truck events are sponsored by the Haw Creek Community Association to keep us connected as neighbors! Bring a chair and hang out at a safe social distance in the shade while waiting for your food order. And masks keep us all safe!
